As part of the Academy's Disaster Field Operations course (FES6805), students in the master's program had to partake in a three-day, two-night disaster field exercise at the end of the cohort to complete their graduate degree. This summer, David Silverberg, writer for Emergency Management Magazine, imbedded with the Academy to see first-hand what the disaster field operations exercise brings to the table.
