Amber Webber

Dr. Webber is the Senior Director of People and Programs at FIU Online, where she oversees data analytics, human resources, and academic program management. She also teaches interdisciplinary and focused classes each semester on leadership, strategy, statistics, emotional intelligence, and human capacity development.  Dr. Webber is a non-traditional academic, having completed her education alongside a career path that has to date included eight years of active duty in the US Air Force with career field specializations in both Security Forces and Professional Military Education, two years of organizational development consulting in hospital systems, and eight years with the US Marshals Service in strategic planning, internal consulting, and workforce development. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Management with a specialization in Strategy and Innovation, an M.Ed. in Adult Education, a B.S. in Management and Human Resources, and two A.A.S. diplomas from the Community College of the Air Force.
